3D Pipelines

Automate your 3D asset pipeline

Chain the Studio’s tools into one recipe — generate, retopologise, lay out UVs, texture, rig — and run it on one picture or twenty, automatically or a step at a time.

Open to every account. Each step costs what it costs in the Studio.

  1. PictureStarting point
  2. Generate Smart 3DZetta Np1.5 · quads
  3. RetopologyZetta R1 · 8,000 faces
  4. Smart UVBake on
  5. Auto rigHumanoid · Mixamo names
One recipe: a picture to a rigged, UV-mapped model at a polygon budget you chose.

Why

A generated model is four steps from usable

Retopology to a budget, UVs, a texture pass, a rig — each one a separate trip through the Studio: run a tool, wait, open the next, set it up again. A pipeline is that sequence built once, with your settings, and run on every input. Same steps, same order, same polygon budget, every time.

How it works

Build once, run on everything

  1. Build the recipe

Drag steps onto the canvas and connect them, starting from a picture or a model. Each step is the full Studio tool, engines and every setting.

  2. Create runs

Pick the pictures or models to run on — up to twenty at a time. Steps that need something new each time, like AI texturing’s description, are filled in per run.

  3. Start, in Auto or Manual

The run shows its estimated total first. It carries on on the server, so you can close the tab.

  4. Collect the results

Every step’s model lands in your library, tagged and grouped with its run in step order.

Runs happen on Zetta 3D’s servers, so closing the tab does not stop one. Every model a step makes is an ordinary model in your library, grouped with the rest of its run.

The steps

Every step is the full Studio tool

Its engines and every setting the Studio offers, with the same limits, plan rules and prices. Connections are typed — a picture, a set of views, a model — so a step only accepts what it can use.

Run modes

Auto, or a step at a time

Manual

Waits for you before each step

Look at every result before paying for the next. The default, and the right choice for a new recipe or an expensive chain.

Auto

Every step submits itself, to the end

For a recipe you trust. Branches run in parallel, and the run checks your balance covers the estimate before it starts.

A failed step stops only its own branch; the others carry on, and a failed 3D step is refunded. Auto runs can be paused, resumed or cancelled. Choosing between them.

New in pipelines

One concept picture, a kit of parts

Isolate Parts finds the parts in a picture — the character, the sword, the shield, the helmet — and makes a clean picture of each: hidden pieces completed, one look across all of them, and a humanoid put in a T-pose with empty hands for rigging. Whatever follows it runs once per part.

In Manual it pauses after identifying the parts, so you confirm the list before any are made. How Isolate Parts works.

What it costs

Building pipelines costs nothing and is open to every account. Each step costs what the same tool costs in the Studio and is charged when it is submitted — there is no hold on the whole run. A step that needs a paid plan in the Studio needs one here too.

What it does not do yet

  • No templates yet — every pipeline starts empty, and ready-made recipes will arrive one at a time.
  • No Gaussian splat or export step in the palette. Download files from the library.
  • A run starts from a picture you upload or one of your images, or a model already in your library.
  • Pipelines are private to your account and cannot be shared.
  • Every step keeps its tool’s own limits and plan rules — Smart UV takes up to 80,000 triangles, so dense meshes need retopology first.

Questions

What people ask about pipelines

What is a 3D pipeline?

The series of steps between a source and a usable asset — generate, retopologise, lay out UVs, texture, rig — built once as a recipe and run on every input, instead of repeated by hand tool by tool.

Do I pay for the whole run up front?

No. Each step costs what it costs in the Studio and is charged when it is submitted. The run shows its estimate before it starts, and in Auto it checks your balance covers it. A failed 3D step is refunded.

Does a run stop if I close the tab?

No. Runs are carried out on Zetta 3D’s servers, so closing the browser does not stop one. Come back to the Runs list to see where it got to.

Can I run one pipeline on many pictures?

Yes. Pick several pictures or models when you create a run — up to twenty at a time — and each gets its own run with its own results.

Can the 3D Agent build a pipeline for me?

Yes. Describe what you want and the Agent drafts the pipeline and opens it. Nothing runs or is charged until you press Start.
